Set against Portland’s iconic waterfront, the ballroom was completely transformed with warm uplighting, our signature dance floor lighting, and a sleek DJ setup that set the tone from the very beginning. Greg Young handled both the ceremony and reception entertainment, bringing a seamless flow to the entire evening. Guests gathered inside the elegantly lit ballroom for an emotional ceremony, then transitioned straight into a high-energy celebration that carried all the way through the midnight countdown. The vibe? Romantic, modern, and electric—exactly what you’d hope for in a New Year’s Eve wedding.

As the clock ticked closer to midnight, the dance floor exploded. We leaned into high-energy pop, throwbacks, and house party bangers that kept the room moving nonstop. This was the kind of crowd that fed off the music—and gave it right back. From sing-alongs and dance battles to a packed countdown moment that gave everyone chills, Katie and Mark’s crew brought unreal energy. It felt less like a wedding and more like the best New Year’s Eve party Portland had ever seen—and we were here for every second of it.

From the very start we were so thankful to have someone we could trust, not only day-of but throughout our wedding planning process.
