With Portside Productions at the helm, and event host Greg Young keeping the vibes just right, this wedding was nothing short of magical.
The Venue: A Coastal Gem in Bar Harbor
The Bar Harbor Regency is one of Maine’s most scenic wedding venues, perched right on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Beth and Rob chose it for its unbeatable backdrop, and it did not disappoint. The day was filled with that coastal New England charm — crisp ocean air, stunning views, and a relaxed elegance that set the stage for a celebration their guests will never forget.
Ceremony on the Lawn, Cocktails on The Patio
The ceremony took place on the Regency’s beautiful back lawn, with the Atlantic Ocean stretching out endlessly behind them. Guests gathered in rows of white chairs, facing the water as soft music played. Portside Productions provided full ceremony audio coverage, ensuring that every heartfelt vow, every laugh, and every happy tear could be heard crystal clear.
With the ocean breeze carrying their words, Beth and Rob said “I do” surrounded by family, friends, and one of the most breathtaking views Maine has to offer.
Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the Regency’s outdoor patio for cocktail hour. The atmosphere was light and joyful — champagne glasses clinking, conversations flowing, and the sound of waves in the distance.
The patio’s open-air setting made it the perfect spot to mingle, enjoy hors d’oeuvres, and soak up the coastal scenery before heading inside for the reception.
The Party
The ballroom at the Bar Harbor Regency provided the perfect blend of elegance and warmth. Portside Productions set the tone with uplighting throughout the room, casting a soft, romantic glow that complemented the ocean-inspired décor.
One of the most talked-about moments of the night came when Beth and Rob were treated to a surprise dance from their guests. The choreographed dance had the whole room laughing and cheering. It was a perfect reflection of the entire day — fun, unexpected, and full of love.
The Dance Floor: A 90s & 2000s Throwback Party
Once the formalities were over, it was time to party — and party they did. Greg Young kept the dance floor packed with an epic mix of 90s and 2000s pop hits, mixed seamlessly with modern favorites.
From the first beat, guests flooded the dance floor and stayed there all night. Every song seemed to hit just right — from sing-along anthems to throwback bangers that had people pointing across the room when their song came on.
As the night wound down, Beth and Rob shared one last dance surrounded by their guests, who formed a circle of love and celebration around them. It was the perfect ending to a day that felt like pure magic from start to finish.
