Nikki and Andrew’s wedding at O’Maine Studios in Portland, Maine was everything we love about modern celebrations—authentic, energetic, and unforgettable. From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this was going to be a party with personality. Hosted by Greg Young and the Portside Productions team, the event featured full ceremony coverage, uplighting, signature dance floor lighting, and a photo booth to capture the fun. The venue’s industrial-chic vibe was the perfect backdrop for this dynamic duo’s vision.
A Music Style That Was All Their Own
Nikki and Andrew didn’t want your typical wedding playlist—and we were here for it. They’re big fans of EDM and upbeat tracks, and Nikki specifically requested that we sprinkle in some dubstep to hype things up during the reception. Greg worked closely with the couple to craft a sound that matched their personalities and gave their night a soundtrack that felt uniquely them. Sure, we snuck in a few wedding crowd favorites, but this celebration was powered by bass, rhythm, and high energy from start to finish.
Once the lights dropped and the music kicked in, the energy inside O’Maine Studios was unmatched. Thanks to our signature lighting, the space was transformed into a glowing, pulsing dance haven. The dance floor stayed packed all night, with guests feeding off the beats and the couple’s contagious excitement. Greg dialed into the vibe perfectly, dropping tracks that kept the adrenaline high while still giving nods to the couple’s musical tastes. It was the kind of dance floor where no one wanted to leave—and that’s always the goal.

Working with Nikki and Andrew was an absolute pleasure. They’re both super sweet, down-to-earth people who wanted their wedding to be fun, bold, and true to who they are.
